This unique "blow through" style ring combines both wiping, scraping and "jetting" action to offer the best cleaning results available on the market today. As the deposit thickness and consistency increase the scraping and jetting action increases.

The Plasta-Pig plug has four (4) scraping/wiping edges which are pressed into the tube I.D. by the water or air & water pressure used to propel it. A venturi type center port design creates pressure cavities in each end of the plug due to the center orifice restriction. The plug O.D. to tube I.D. pressure increases with the amount of back pressure created by the deposit resistance to the plug travel and the exiting water creates a jetting effect blowing loose deposits ahead of itself. The unique tapered side support to the two (2) center wiper ribs enhances the scraping action for tougher "egg-shell" deposit applications.
