JN-Series Hydraulic Jam Nut Wrench

 The
JN-Series Hydraulic Jam Nut Wrench is designed for fast, safe and
accurate tightening orloosening of gas compressor piston rod, crosshead,
jam nuts. The Francis Torq/Lite®; JN-Series hydraulic jam nut
wrench features a unique "split head" design enabling the
tool to fit over the piston and around the jam nut. Our standard JN-Series
wrench capacity ranges to 32,000 foot pounds of torque using a standard
bi-directional 10,000 p.s.i. hydraulic pump.

Unique
"Split-Head" Design - The "Split Head" can
be designed to fit any OEM Jam Nut; hex or any other configuration,
eliminating the need for expensive after-market nuts. |

- The unique "Split Head" design can be placed around
the piston rod and on the jam nut in less than one minute. Accurate
tightening or loosening of the jam nut is easily achieved in
just a few seconds. |

- The JN-Series wrench eliminates unsafe hammer wrenches, hydraulic
jacks or cranes, often required to turn crosshead jam nuts. |

- The fast hydraulic wrench designed specifically to deal with
crosshead jam nuts, provides accuracy to ± 3% with the
use of a standard bi-directional 10,000 p.s.i. hydraulic pump. |

compressor crosshead access port. Works right-side up or upside-down,
